Natural Dyeing with Ellysium: Woad

Another experiment, this one with Woad (wede). Extracting the colour without a dye bath. When it comes into contact with oxygen it turns blue. These didn’t turn out as blue as we hoped for, but a very lovely shade of green nevertheless!
