Things I’ve learned

Handmade Book | 14×14 cm | June 2008

Inspired by the work of graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister, this booklet made during my time at the WdKA, consists of an outer casing describing Sagmeisters obvious and ‘dry’ information of identification, like name, date of birth, and his job description.

On the inside, you can find more detailed info about his life and activities as a designer. The pages however hold little cards featuring works made by people that were inspired by him.

On the (now offline) website www.thingsihavelearnedinmylife.com people could add images, showing the things they had learned in their lives so far. This project was based on one of Sagmeisters books of typographical works.

  • Disclaimer: This one-off booklet was made as an WdKA student project. The works made by others that it contains, is ofcourse copyrighted to them and only used in educational context.
