Back in the ancient day, the Celtic Calendar aligned with Nature starting her new cycle, dividing the year into only two seasons: ‘The Dark Half’ and ‘The Light Half’.
Personally I feel the ‘shift of the year’ much more strongly working with the Coligny Calendar (at least the 2nd century CE), than the currently dominant Gregorian Calendar (1528 CE).
At the beginning of ‘The Dark Half’ I feel the desire to make plans for when the light returns in Spring, to ‘clean house’ of things that weigh me down and to nurture the things that lift me up.
Therefore, below a bit of news about taking on commissioned work and illustration jobs again, starting a Patreon page with a monthly Print, Pin & Sticker Club, a bunch of Upcoming Workshops for you to join, and a little New Year’s wish to you all ♥
