  • 2024

     

    Something borrowed, something blue...

    After working in many communal gardens over the years, October 2024 I was lucky enough to start one that I could really call ‘my own’.

    This garden is to become a practical ‘project-space’ for my artistic endeavors, but perhaps in it’s core even more a place, in case of wandering off my own path, to always come back to ♥︎.

    Index & Structure

    2025’s focus was to get to know the garden in all seasons first, to index the plants that were already growing, and observing sun, soil and critters ♥︎.

    The only plants introduced were Calendula, Woad, Goldenrod, a Blue Grape, and some seasonal veggies, because it turned out to be very abundant already!

  • 2026

     

    Redefining ‘Dye Plants’

    In 2026 I’m going to start making natural inks from the plants in(- and outside) my garden. Some being traditional ‘dye plants’, others personal favorites.

    I joined the 1m2 Vlas project, added several Fruit and Berry bushes/trees, and made more ‘intervening decisions’, so I could add Madder and Dyer’s Camomille to the garden.
