In 2014 I started teaching workshops, courses and private tutoring in drawing and printmaking techniques. These take place at my studio or upon request at schools, festivals and other locations.
Around the same time I joined the education team at Grafische Werkplaats Den Haag. This studio is one of the biggest and oldest printmaking spaces of The Hague (founded in 1974) and is known for their diverse facilities for silkscreen printing, litho, etching, riso, relief printing and textile printing. I ♥ working there!
From that I’ve become one of the main teachers for many wonderful community projects created by Cultuurvlinder and also part of many art education projects developed by KunstPost connecting children and the elderly through sharing their stories.
Every now and then I teach drawing, illustration or character design lessons for KOO (previously known as Koorenhuis) at schools and community centers.
When we created our community project in het Toverbosch in 2018, developing outdoor workshops has been my main focus for education. With a great team we provide events, workshops and courses in art & nature education ♥.
Recently I also started teaching printmaking lessons at Urban Art Studio 079, so lots of teaching going on!
