A Silkscreen Printing Course, divided in two modular units

INTRO: The first 4 lessons of the course are an extensive introduction to the basic principles of silkscreen printing, in which you will learn how to achieve a Silkscreen Print through various methods. You will work with different design techniques, including stencils, using light-sensitive emulsion, or directly painting onto a silkscreen printing frame. We’ll start with a mono-print, then learn how to build up a multi-color design, and print it on paper.

EXTRA: In the (optional) second part of the course, you can experiment with special inks, such as fluorescent and metallic inks, and print on other materials like glass, wood, or objects. Through your own projects, you will continue to learn more tricks of the trade. In these 4 lessons, there is plenty of room for your own input and experimentation.

* You can choose to join only the INTRO block, register for both INTRO and EXTRA directly (10% discount), or decide later if you want to do EXTRA as well.

* You will receive all the basic materials needed to complete the assignments in this course, but you can also bring your own materials to print on. Especially for the second part of the course, it is wise to collect materials, so you can really try some special things.
