New Workshops and a 6 lesson Course coming up!

When I started teaching the Medieval Botanical Illustration workshops 3 years ago, the idea of making it a full botanical course soon came to life. There is just not enough time in only 2 days to tell you everything I want to share about Plant Life, Botanical Drawing, Medieval Illustrations and Printmaking ♥︎.

The MBI 2-day workshop will continue as it is, but I added a 1-day workshop about making an Herbarium and doing Field Studies to the mix and The Full Plant Course for people that want to do it all, in a 6 lesson course.

In these 2-hour lessons we can go a bit more in depth into every theme and will be able to make multi-layered block prints and really work on our Herbarium over a longer period.

What is the difference between the Medieval Botanical Illustration + Herbarium Field Studies + The Full Plant Course?

Medieval Botanical Illustration is a beautiful way to get introduced to Botanical Illustration and Block Printing. Herbarium Field Studies is for ‘aspiring plant nerds’ about drawing plants and how to document them in an Herbarium.

The Full Plant Course combines these workshops (and more) in 6 in-depth lessons, starting this fall 2026 (sep-nov).
