Imprinted ‘FLOW’

for the 10th @im_printed International Print Exchange

The theme of this PrintX10 exchange was ‘FLOW’, which made me think of floating in the wind or water, feeling completely weightless.

Yet, in surrendering to it’s effortlessness, it does not mean you have to lose all sense of control.

You can, while ‘going with the flow’, still make your own decisions and keep feeling your own strength ♥.

And in a perfect world, so mote it be.

The @im_printed PrintX10 exchange is the 10th edition of an International Print Exchange, initiated by Alice Clarke. Chosen artists were required to create a numbered edition of a brand new print on the theme ‘FLOW’. In return, they recieved works from 10 other participating artists.

Cutting the Design

Finally going to cut this lino today, for the @im_printed Print Exchange.

From initial scribble, to rough linework, and then transferred to the soft-lino.

I like building up the image on the block itself, instead of working with fully polished linework.

And ready to see how it prints tomorrow!
